Media and Communications Volunteer 

This role will support the Media, Communications and Alumni Manager in promoting the work of Prisoners' Education Trust and the value of prison education more widely. Tasks will include, writing, editing and transcribing; managing social media and website content; assisting with media engagement, and helping with events and administrative tasks. Applicants should have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail and an enthusiasm for public and media engagement. Journalism/communications-related experience or qualification preferred. This is a part-time voluntary position. Trusts Fundraising Volunteer

This role will support the fundraising team by researching potential funders, writing fundraising applications and submitting funder reports, all while developing your understanding of PET’s work and the criminal justice sector. You will help to secure vital funds to underpin PET’s work, thereby having a direct impact on our service provision and enabling us to successfully meet the educational needs of men and women in prison.
