25 years of helping learners

This audio programme from Prisoners' Education Trust, presented by broadcast journalist Andrie Morris, offers an introduction to PET and how it discovered what distance learning could do for people in prison.

This 9 minute programme marks 25 years of PET's work and includes contributions from one of its founders David Burton, its current Chief Executive Rod Clark and former director, Pat Jones. The programme also includes interviews from teachers and learners at HMP Pentonville, where Jason, who is studying a course in creative writing, says: "Education can be the vehicle to get you to where you need to be."
