30 November 2021
We know from the many letters, calls and postcards we receive from learners that studying can be a lifeline as prisons continue to feel the impact of the pandemic.
Despite the challenges, people in prison are keen to keep studying.
Garry is one of many learners who we funded to study whilst in prison. He told us about the importance of having something positive to focus on in prison. You can read his story here.
Now we need your help to provide essential educational advice and guidance to people in prison who want to study.
Your donation will mean we can support more people through our Advice Line and give more people the chance to progress and develop by taking our courses.
To help give more learners in prison hope and confidence for the future, visit the Big Give website.
If you donate from midday today (30 November) until midday on Tuesday 7 December your gift will be doubled, while match funding lasts.
Thank you for making sure people in prison are not forgotten this year.
Don’t forget our online event Meeting the needs of prison learners during the pandemic & beyond takes place tomorrow evening (1 December) at 6pm on Zoom. You can sign up here if you haven’t already.
