We have published our 2026–2027 Course Prospectus – the most forward-looking and accessible edition yet.

The prospectus features cutting-edge courses on AI and environmental sustainability, new digital learning opportunities, and more options to help people in prison focus on the future.

Featuring nearly 120 courses, learners can find the prospectus in prison libraries and education departments across England and Wales, as well as on PET’s website in prisons.

An expanded digital learning offer

As ever, the prospectus includes all the course information learners need to make their decision with confidence, as well as a comprehensive course index for quick reference.

And for the first time, this edition features our expanded digital learning offer – with free short courses available through PET’s website and the Virtual Campus.

Learners will find new tools to help them choose the right course – including time-planning examples and advice on aligning courses with your release date and long-term goals. Clearer, updated guidance ensures they know how to access tutor help, continue studying after transfer or release, and stay connected with PET.

More accessible, easier to read

We have made sure this edition is more accessible and easier to read too. We know that many people in prison have dyslexia which can cause problems with reading, so we’ve made improvements to the text, layout and colours.

Every year, we help around 1,500 people take a course that could change their future. With a fresh look but the same friendly design, the prospectus reflects PET’s ambition to make high-quality education available to people in prison.
