Join us on Wednesday 1st December for an online event to find out more about what we do and how our work can transform the lives of people in prison.

Members of the PET team will be talking to our Chair of Trustees, Elisabeth Davies, and at the end there will be an opportunity for you to ask your own questions.

Education in prison has been through a tough time over the last 18 months. While education is largely back on track in the community, with schools and colleges open, this is not the same in prisons. Learners continue to be massively disadvantaged by the repercussions of the pandemic and consequent lockdown.

Last year we asked supporters for their help to launch PET’s first ever freephone Advice Line – the quickest, most reliable way to offer support to learners during the lockdown in prisons. More than a year on we’ve taken over 2300 calls.

This event will give insight into PET’s advice work and the distance learning courses we offer, as well as how we keep striving to improve our support for people in prison.

The event is free to attend and you can book your place below. Once you have booked, we will send you an email with the Zoom details.
