The best way to contact your local MP is usually by email. You can find out who your local MP is by entering your postcode here.
Here is a template letter that you can use if you want to. You could choose to send it as is, with the appropriate details filled in, or you may wish to re-write it in your own words.
When sending anything to your MP, it’s important that you include your full name and address. MPs can normally only respond to people who live in their constituency, and without this information they may not be able to reply.
If you do choose to contact your local MP, please note that you are doing so in a personal capacity, not on behalf of Prisoners’ Education Trust. However, if you receive a response from your MP and would like to share it with us, you’re very welcome to do so.
